About Adapt My Recipe

I'm Joe Faron. I don't really like cooking.

One night my wife Jillian asked me to help with dinner and sent me a link to Sally McKenney's Chicago deep dish pizza recipe. We had a Thermomix TM6 on the counter, and I wanted to do it in there.

Turns out you can build your own recipes inside Cookidoo (Thermomix's recipe library). They call them Created Recipes. The catch: writing one by hand is fiddly. Every step needs weights, speeds, times, temperatures, all in the exact shape Cookidoo expects.

So I wrangled Sally's deep dish into TM6 form. The version on this site is what came out. When you publish a recipe through Adapt My Recipe, it goes straight to your own Cookidoo account as a Created Recipe, private to you, only showing up in your account on your own Thermomix.

Then I built the rest of this app to do the same thing for any recipe. Paste a website, a PDF, a photo of an old family notebook, and out comes a working Thermomix recipe you can publish to your Cookidoo account.

The recipes I've put up here on the site are all free. I'm just trying to cover the AI and server costs. If it helps you, share it with someone, or drop me a note. I'm open to suggestions.
