- 15 g cacao nibs
- 300 ml unsweetened almond milk
- 1 frozen banana, broken into chunks
- 3 Medjool dates, pitted
- 20 g almond butter
- 3 g cordyceps powder
- 3 g maca powder
- 5 ice cubes
Method
Preparation
- 1 Add cacao nibs to mixing bowl. Mill 10 sec/speed 10 to a fine powder.10s / sp10
- 2 Add almond milk, frozen banana, dates, almond butter, cordyceps powder, maca powder, and ice cubes. Blend 1 min/speed 10.Blend
- 3 Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
Tips
- Freeze banana chunks the night before for a thicker, colder smoothie without needing extra ice.
- Cordyceps and maca are subtle in flavour, the dates and cacao do the heavy lifting on taste. Adjust date quantity if you prefer it less sweet.
- For an extra protein hit, add 20 g hemp seeds or a scoop of plant protein with the liquid ingredients.
